ed: ^fiddling with their newest idea on making a silent walking stick, tying off whatever he can and adding as much soft soundless materials as he can to be less of a burden^

Roy ^and a shadow too tall to be Al's falls over hi and as he looks up, he sees another mcfuckin human being, a handsome one, one thats been traveling awhile fro the rugged looks of him^ Eyes wide as he looks down at him, wondering if this could be real, if he really is seeing a human right now or if hes died and looking at an angel^ slides to knees silently and burries face in hands unable to stop himself from crying quietly^

ed: ^Shocked and barely stopped self from gasping or screaming^ ^frowns so big and pushes self to knee and wraps arm around him, knocking head lightly into his like hey stop you dont need to do that^

Roy: ^leans against the boy stil in shock but pulls out a lil notebook and showqs it to him andit says Hello I'm Roy Mustang^

ed: ^a little amused look and carefully scritches in the dirt/sand "Im Ed"^

Roy: ^mouths his name looking like he might cry more^ writes "I thought I would never see someone again" then adds "God i don't know if it's because its been so long or because I'd true but you're so beautiful"^

Ed: ^scrunches face and takes his pen and circles "been so long"^

. Roy: . Quiet chuckle. "Are you alone here?"

ed: ^shakes head and steals the pen again "little brother"^

Roy: . Looks so overwhelmed and in awe. Quickly without hesitation writes 'please let me stay with you" then adds "I'll work and I promise not top put you in danger ".

ed: ^cant not let him tbh and gives a smile and shrugs and writes "itll be up to al, but hes soft so im sure you can stay"^

Roy: . Takes his little hand and presses his forehead to it showing his gratitude.

Ed: .small lil smile and mouths 'help me up'.

Roy: ^nods and he does! with a lot of ease ecspecially compared to Al^

Ed: .surprised little face and features like our house is there.

Roy: ^looks at where he's gesturing and then gestures like do you want me to take you there?^

ed: ^gets a contemplating look, clearly like youll get there faster without me but i dont want my brother to get sared and gives a small nod^

Roy: ^nods and so he helps him over there^

ed: ^and its definitely easier in the house im sure its carpeted or at least theres like 50 things thrown down to muffle foot sounds^ ^clearly looking about for al eyes bright and gesturing r to stay close^

Al: . And I'm sure he finds him working on something!. Blinks and looks up, eyes widening shocked to see another person.

ed: ^gives him a brilliant little grin and hobbles over to him to whisper/gesture 'look what i found'^ ^also u know they made a soundproof room too they GOTTA HAVE^

Al: ^or are working on one!^but you gotta know they can sign!^ but Al smiles brightly and hops to his feet and throws his arms around roy in a hug!^

ed: ^how can one sign when theres only one hand! and thathands job is to keep them upright!^ ^beams at them because how CUTE^

Al: ^oh thats tru, tho im sure al signs AT ed^ comes down all beaming and signs to ed that hes going to make dinner early for the ocasion^
