Ed: ^dazed in the grocery, staring at cans and not taking a single word in, caught up in the earlier fight with al^

Jules: ^wandering the mall, perking up at seeing Al works today and goes to say Hi^

Ling: ^and next thing he knows there's a smiling face inhis vision^ accented^ Hello!

Al: ^staring off into space thinking about ed fight and sees colorful hair at the edge of his vision and turns, smiling^ Julian!

ed: ^Startled and jumps back^ Woah! Uh, hi?

jules: ^Smiles bright^ you looked a bit lost in thoguht there, everything ok?

Ling: Hello! I'm from Xing!

Al: Ah yeah, totally all good, how are you? Got out of your dads grasp today, huh?

ed: Uh...i'm from here

J: ^amused look v clearly not buying it but wont pry^ ^beams^ yup! at least for a few hours !

Ling: ^Cheerily^ I knoww! Im lost

Al: Thats great ^grins^ Some time is better than none, yanno?

ed: ^Less confused now and lowkey relieved^ Oh! ok, where are you tryin to go?

jules: ^smiles and nods^ is it a slow crowd today?

Ling: to the chips!

Al: mmm it was busier earlier, now it's thinning out

Ed: ^snorts a laugh^ tjays easy, come with me

Jules: any interesting purchases?

Al: . Opens mouth to reply but a scream comes from somewhere down the way.

ed: ^barely refrains from snorting at the name, just assuming its a language barrier thing and takes him to where he wants to be^

j: ^jumps and turns, and honestly too curious and nosy to let it be and tells bby he'll check it out and to wait here and goes to DO that bc i mean al cant go check anyways bc working^

Ling: . Looks amazed. That's a lot of chips! Even this man doesn't know

Roy: . Contemplating two chips in either of his hands. Looked up and because smol town. Hey Ed

Al: be careful! . Waits. And as julian gets closer he sees the ruckus was from the front door, and through the clear glass he sees is really smoky ot there but THEN he can see blood, enough to fill a body, splattered on the glass from the other side

ed: ^cant not laugh and gives a wave^ you strugglin'? ^goes up to him to see what hes contemplting^

j: ^lowkey nauseous^ W-what happened? ^asking anyone nice enough to listen and tell him^

Roy: . Hot cheetos and jalapeno hot cheetos. Got a refugee coming through town so thought I'd grab something since I'm definitely missing lunch . Gestures to the cop cat outside where it's starting to look foggy.

A: . And they're like he jist tried to leave and this happened.

Ed: .makes a face a little confused at the fog. I can being you something you know

J: is there...is there someone outside doing it? .likeaserialkiller.

Roy: ^blushes and nearly drops the chips^ Wha-.. I mean... really? I uh... ^totally flustered^

Al: ^and theyre like we dont know and he hears something drop from the upper floor and im sure if he turns he can see its Al (coz i imagine his shoe sho p up on a balcony thing)^ covers mouth staring at the blood^

Ed: .amused watching him. Of course, gotta feed the troops dont I?

J: .looks to him and figures no ones gonna get any answers any time soon. Maybe... We shouldn't go outside .gonna go bask up to bby.

Roy: R-right, if you want to...

Ling: Wow, this is like a soap opera

Al: ^swallows and looks to him as he comes up^ What happened?

ed: ^small laugh and looks down/away to cover the Very Real Blush on his cheeks^ dont be silly

j: u-uhm, they uh, they said it just happened, someone walked out and then....that...

Ling: Silly is a good word I think

Al: ^then someone down there is like this is ridiculous, im going home! and opens the door and imgonnacopytheshowso he dissappears into the mist and then, suddenly he runs back, his jaw missing and a thing grabs him around the waist and tugs him back in. needless to say there's screaming and calls to get away from the door^ covers mouth and cant help but fall to his knees^ w-what

ed: w-well! thats my civic duty for the day i should finish up and go home!

j: ^honestly paralyzed with shock and fear^ this is....surely a dream....right? this can't be real?

Ling: may I go home with you? I lost my friends?

Roy: . Can't help but laugh and turn around and stop.

Al: . Frozen. ..... Ed . Runs back to the store and grabs the phone to call but if I remember right, calls don't work, but for fun Ed gets them, but in rapid succession like you can't even pick them up. No, no, no! Ed! Work, dammit!

ed: ^amused sound and about to say something but takes notice of roy not laughing and frowns and turns to him^ ^jumps a bit when phone starts to go crazy and fumbles it but tries to answer but obvs cant^ What the hell

jule: ^follows him back in because cant not and trying NOT to be freaked out especially by AL cursing^ where is he?

Roy: Well, I dont think anyone's gong anywhere in this ^goes to the windows^

Al: I... I dont know, we had a fight this morning ^hands shaking^
