Airplane/Lost PN

Ed figured it was gonna hurt, it couldn't have not, he had hoped he would be out of it enough to not feel it, but the bite of the metal was like a shock to his system and he tensed, his head snapping back and eyes clenching closed. he didnt struggle, just grit his teeth and waited, then figured it would be a fully appropriate time to make sarcastic coments with a tone painted in pain, "youd think....with everythin' else goin on, i wouln' feel this 's bad, but i fuckin' -can- thats not fuckin' -fair-"

alai wasnt the type to give out soothing platitudes, and he did't know how to start now, so he didnt. His bedside manner wasn't -abysmal- but it was near enough. Sometimes people just needed a shock and sometimes he could be blunt enough to deliver it, he hoped now was one of those times, "I didn't really take you for the type to give up, don't you have something worth fighting for? Or were you always planning on this being your last flight."

Scar: held the limb so it didn't thumb to the ground when he finally cut through. Yes, loosing a limb was traumatizing but Ed hardly needed to hear his own body mass thumping against the jungle ground like dead weight. In fact, he didn't need to see it. Still holding the metal, blood streaming down his arm, Scar snatched Ling's shaky wrist, forcing the asian mans hand to cover Ed's eyes. Scar put the limb in the fire, along with the metal. Uncermoniously, he pressed the hot edge to Edward's open wound.

Al: "Of course not....but he'd understand... that the others..." Alphonse explained. Alphonse closed his eyes and becauase his cheek was pressed against the ground, his eyelashes gathered sand.
